Biology as Technology

I'm a consultant and an entrepreneur fascinated by the wonderful world of microbes and the future of biotechnology.  I'm an agronomical engineer by training (AgroParisTech) and during my PhD (Harvard/Paris Descartes) became increasingly interested in the commercialization of biotechnology and how to use microbes to solve different issues around sustainability, from energy to food quality and security. 

Beyond Afineur and Synbio Consulting and the fascinating challenges around communicating, marketing, commercializing and regulating breakthrough biotechnologies, I have also been actively involved in sprouting new biotech hubs in developing countries and how to train the next generation of biotechnologists.
